I’m looking to get a combined homeowners and auto insurance policy. Right now, the package that Farmers is offering based on my specs is 10% cheaper than AAA’s.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

OK, you’re comparing Apples to Oranges. AAA is an AGENCY, and has access to MULTIPLE companies. Farmers only has Farmers.
If you compare COVERAGES, and the COVERAGES are the same, and the company AAA is using is ALSO A rated, then it’s fine to shop just on price. But you want to make sure the coverages are "apples to apples".
Take the above advise…shes right. I used to write for Farmers and I will tell you they are a good company. I can’t tell you about the other since we do not know what company they quoted you through.
Farmers Insurance has the worst ratings of the two. I would recommend you check out Country Companies.
Call this number 1 877 855 8111 give them pin#KJPM8 and Sherbert. They will help you out.
AAA actually has a better rate than Farmers. AAA will credit your policies at the end of the year when you don’t havea claim. I had Farmers Insurance in the past, AAA comes in a lot less expensive/ AAA multiple policies discount is much greater then other carriers.
You need to get the quotes in writing, make sure you have apple to apple comparison. You want your car(s) and homeowner policies combined total to compare. Don’t just take one policy as a time; you will see the real result.
Good luck!
