Is there any way for a minor to register a vehicle without her parents name on it and obtain insurance? MD?

They don’t object but refuse to help. This child has been living outside of their household for over a year with a friend. State is Maryland.

    No, unless she is declared emancipated by the courts. Until then, her parents are legally responsible for her, and have to approve any registration or insurance contracts
